Service Terms

Print Life Solutions is a managed website platform. These terms explain responsibility boundaries clearly so there are no surprises.

PLATFORM DEFINITION

What You Are Buying

  • Print Life Solutions (“PLS”) provides a managed website platform. We build the website once, then operate it continuously.

This is not DIY software, not commodity hosting, and not an uptime guarantee. Platform fees pay for ongoing operation, monitoring, and management.

A) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Infrastructure Dependencies

  • PLS relies on third-party providers such as cloud infrastructure, DNS/CDN services, email delivery systems, and domain registrars.

These services are not owned or controlled by PLS. PLS does not warrant that third-party services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

B) FORCE MAJEURE & INTERNET EVENTS

Events Outside Our Control

  • Network-wide outages, DNS or BGP routing incidents, CDN failures, provider-level DDoS attacks, or vendor-wide security events are outside the control of PLS.

These events do not suspend payment obligations and do not entitle customers to refunds or credits.

C) NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS

No Automatic Compensation

  • PLS does not provide automatic refunds, service credits, or payouts for downtime, outages, or performance issues.

Fees compensate for platform operation — not guaranteed uptime.

D) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Liability Is Strictly Limited

  • PLS is not liable for lost revenue, lost leads, business interruption, reputational harm, or indirect damages.

If liability is finally determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, total liability is capped at fees paid in the prior [X] months, as permitted by law.

E) NO PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES

No Guarantees of Results

  • PLS does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, SEO rankings, lead volume, conversion rates, or revenue outcomes.

A website is an operating asset, not a business guarantee.

SECURITY SCOPE

What “Security” Means

    • Patch and update management for supported components
    • DNS/CDN/WAF configuration where applicable
    • Monitoring, alerting, and incident response
    • Backup and recovery procedures

Security reduces risk. It does not make the internet invulnerable.

      • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle

      • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period

No partial refunds or credits are issued for unused time.

      6. Fees, Refunds & Chargebacks

All fees are non-refundable once services are provisioned, including but not limited to:

      • Hosting setup

      • Website migration

      • Configuration work

      • Ongoing managed services

PLS does not issue refunds, credits, or payouts for:

      • Downtime

      • Outages

      • Performance issues

      • Third-party failures

Chargebacks or unauthorized payment disputes constitute a breach of this Agreement.

      7. Fair Use & Resource Limits

All services are subject to fair use limits to protect platform stability.

      Prohibited or excessive usage includes:

      • File storage unrelated to website operations

      • Media streaming or file distribution

      • Cryptocurrency mining

      • Malware, spam, or abusive traffic

      • Activities that degrade platform performance

PLS reserves the right to require plan upgrades, limit services, or suspend accounts for abuse.

      8. Client Responsibilities

      You agree to:

      • Provide accurate and lawful content

      • Maintain secure credentials

      • Comply with all applicable laws

      • Avoid prohibited or abusive use

PLS may suspend or terminate services for violations, non-payment, or security risks.

      9. Suspension, Termination & Data Retention

PLS may suspend or terminate services:

      • For non-payment

      • For security or abuse concerns

      • For violations of this Agreement

      Upon termination:

      • Website access may be disabled

      • Data retention is not guaranteed

      • Restoration or migration is not included unless agreed in writing

      10. Intellectual Property

All platform systems, configurations, templates, and operational materials remain the property of PLS.

Clients retain ownership of their own content but grant PLS a license to host, manage, and process that content as required to deliver services.

      11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

      • PLS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

      • This includes loss of data, revenue, profits, or business interruption

      • Total liability is limited to the fees paid by the Client in the 30 days preceding the claim

      12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PLS from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

      • Your website content

      • Your business operations

      • Your violation of laws or third-party rights

      13. Modifications to Terms
